Expands eligibility for farm mutual insurer board directors to include members of the insurer's affiliates, not just members of the insurer itself

Defines "affiliate" as any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the insurer

Maintains existing requirements that farm mutual insurers must have between 5 and 15 directors

Amends South Dakota statutes § 58-35-8 and § 58-35-26 governing farm mutual insurer incorporation and director qualifications
