South Dakota joins the Physician Assistant Licensure Compact, allowing PAs licensed in one participating state to practice in other member states through a "Compact Privilege" without obtaining separate licenses

PAs must meet eligibility requirements including graduation from an accredited PA program, current NCCPA certification, no felony or misdemeanor convictions, and no history of license revocation or controlled substance license suspension

Creates the PA Licensure Compact Commission as a joint interstate agency to administer the compact, with one delegate per participating state, authority to promulgate binding rules, and power to collect fees and assessments

Establishes a shared Data System for tracking PA licensure information, adverse actions, and significant investigative information across participating states

The compact becomes effective when enacted by seven states; participating states may withdraw with 180 days notice after enacting a repealing statute
