Establishes a new tire weight limit of 650 pounds per inch of tire width for mobile cranes with permanently attached axles, carrying a boom over the vehicle and operating with a permit under § 32-22-42

Maintains existing 600 pounds per inch limit for dual-tire axles, steering axles, permitted oversize/overweight vehicles, trailers towed by vehicles rated 11,000 pounds or less, and wide tires (445mm/17.5 inches) on designated highways

Maintains existing 500 pounds per inch limit for all other axle types

Defines "mobile crane" as a self-propelled lifting machine with a telescoping or lattice boom designed to move between work sites

Violations remain classified as a Class 2 misdemeanor, and all weight limits under § 32-22-16 still apply
