Encourages each member of South Dakota's congressional delegation to meet annually with the state Legislature for at least one hour

Meetings would occur with the Legislature sitting as a joint committee of the whole, at a time agreed upon by the congressional member, House Speaker, and Senate President Pro Tempore

Purpose of meetings is to discuss the state of the federal government and the member's work on behalf of South Dakota and its residents

Resolution cites concerns about national debt exceeding gross domestic product, federal overreach through mandates, and improper constitutional interpretation as justification for increased communication
