Amends South Dakota statute § 24-5-3 governing requirements for inmates discharged from correctional facilities via parole, suspended sentence, or final discharge

Requires correctional facility officials to provide discharged inmates with suitable clothing and a sum of money determined by the secretary of corrections

Mandates transportation to one of three location options: the county where the inmate resided at the time of the offense, the county where the inmate was sentenced, or an equivalent distance location based on whichever option is lesser in mileage

Applies only when these provisions have not already been provided to the inmate
