Removes grade eleven students from the mandatory statewide academic achievement assessment currently given to grades 3-8 and 11, limiting that uniform test to grades 3-8 only

Requires the South Dakota Board of Education Standards to annually review and approve (by May 1) a list of alternative academic achievement assessments specifically for 11th graders that measure academic progress, align with state content standards, and accommodate various post-graduation academic or career pathways

Allows each 11th grade student to select their own assessment from the approved list in consultation with a school guidance counselor or administrator

Repeals § 13-3-84, which previously specified testing requirements for partially enrolled students based on the 50% enrollment threshold

Mandates the Board of Education Standards to promulgate rules establishing criteria for assessment approval, administration timelines, and assessment procedures
