Amends SDCL § 1-25-2 to expand the permissible purposes for holding executive sessions or closed meetings by public bodies

Adds new categories allowing closed discussions of: emergency/disaster response plans, security audits, lists of response personnel/materials, and locations of weapons, ammunition, biological/chemical/nuclear agents, or military/law enforcement equipment

Requires majority vote to enter executive session, with roll call vote mandatory unless unanimous; motion must state the specific legal basis for closure

Restricts discussion during executive session to only the purpose stated in the motion, and any official action must be taken in an open meeting

Violations constitute a Class 2 misdemeanor
