Amends § 11-2-30 to clarify procedures when county commissioner boards act on zoning amendments, supplements, changes, modifications, or repeals requested under § 11-2-28 or § 11-2-28.1

Requires boards to adopt or reject requested zoning actions by resolution or ordinance, with or without changes, following a hearing

Removes the prior requirement for 10-day advance newspaper publication when considering changes to proposed amendments

Mandates publication of adoption notice pursuant to § 11-2-21 when boards approve requested actions

Establishes that rejection decisions by the board are subject to the appeal and referendum provisions of §§ 7-8-27 to 7-8-32
