Jordan serves as district conservationist at the Redfield Natural Resources Conservation Service Field Office covering Spink and Clark counties

His work resulted in more than 250 conservation stewardship program contracts with local producers

Jordan grew up on a corn and soybean farm in the Loess Hills of west central Iowa, where he managed sheep, cattle, and a tree farm
