Legislative Description

As enacted, requires the department to coordinate with other state agencies and health care providers to promote access to services for persons in psychiatric emergencies, subject to funding; requires certain action if appropriations are inadequate to allow the department to maintain funding for the portion of the emergency psychiatric services continuum for uninsured persons at the annualized level provided as of January 1, 2009. - Amends TCA Title 33, Chapter 6.
