Legislative Description

As enacted, requires a local agency that receives information from the toll-free hotline that receives allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse of public funds to investigate and remedy any illegal, improper, or wasteful activity noted in the information to the same extent that a state agency or community grant agency is required to do so under present law. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 4 and Title 8, Chapter 19.
