Legislative Description

As enacted, clarifies that existing residents as well as new admissions who have qualified for hospice care prior to admission are eligible to receive hospice care in an assisted-care living facility; clarifies that hospice services are pursuant to a patient care plan. - Amends TCA Title 68.
