Legislative Description

As enacted, authorizes commissioner of commerce and insurance to waive requirement that foreign insurance company must have been organized and actively engaged in the insurance business in the state of its incorporation for a period of three years prior to the date of its application in order to be admitted and authorized to do business in this state, if the commissioner determines waiver is in the public interest.
