Legislative Description

As enacted, requires the department to deposit into the drinking water revolving loan fund any funds from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to make loans and subsidize loans made under the program for low cost loans to local governments for wastewater facilities or the program for loans to water systems; authorizes the department and the Tennessee local development authority to use funds from the Act to make loans and to subsidize loans made under the programs and administer programs using the funds in accordance with federal law. - Amends TCA Title 68, Chapter 221, Parts 10 and Part 12.
