Legislative Description

As enacted, requires that the judge, upon finding that the respondent violated an order of protection or court approved consent order, order the respondent to post a bond of at least $2,500 until such time as the order of protection expires; specifies other requirements in regard to the bond, forfeiture of the bond and proceeds from a judgment for the amount of the bond. - Amends TCA Section 36-3-610.
