Legislative Description

As introduced, requires commissioner of finance and administration to seek an amendment to the TennCare waiver to require TennCare enrollees to seek all of their nonemergent primary care from public health departments; requires MCOs to contract with public health departments; requires bureau of TennCare to provide certain financial assistance to local health departments. - Amends TCA Title 49; Title 63; Title 68 and Title 71.
