Legislative Description

As enacted, creates Class A misdemeanor offense of knowingly or recklessly maiming or harming a service animal and the Class C misdemeanor of interfering with a service dog in the performance of its duties and provides for restitution to the handler of the dog. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 14, Part 2.
