Legislative Description

As enacted, extends the state TennCare pharmacy advisory committee, June 30, 2016; authorizes, rather than requires, the governor and the speakers of each chamber of the general assembly to select appointees to the TennCare pharmacy advisory committee from lists of names that are submitted by interested groups; requires the governor and the speakers to consult with interested groups to determine qualified persons to fill the positions. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 71, Chapter 5, Part 24.
