Legislative Description

As introduced, includes organic milk and milk products under the Dairy Industry Promotion Act, which authorizes producers of milk and milk products on a commercial basis to levy upon themselves an assessment on milk products for the purpose of financing or contributing to the financing of a program of promoting, advertising, researching and other methods designed to increase the consumption, use and sale of domestic milk and milk products.
