Legislative Description

As introduced, prevents health care practitioners or facilities from asking a patient about gun ownership, possession or storage unless certain factors are present and prevents insurance companies from discriminating against an applicant or insured based upon gun ownership. - Amends TCA Title 56; Title 63 and Title 68.
