Legislative Description

As introduced, increases from 60 to 90 days the time that the insurance company has to respond to the policyholder's demand for payment of damages or loss; and increases from 30 to 45 days the time that the insurance company has, prior to the commencement of action by the policyholder, to make a payment. - Amends TCA Title 56, Chapter 7.
