Legislative Description

As enacted, adds "engaging in a ponzi scheme" and "making fraudulent statements or intentional omissions in order to induce a consumer to sell securities or other things of value to fund an annuity product or other form of investment" to the list of unfair or deceptive acts or practices under the Consumer Protection Act. - Amends TCA Title 47, Chapter 18.
