Legislative Description

As enacted, prohibits title insurance companies and title insurance rating organizations from filing as part of their schedule of rates for title insurance, that part of the charge for title insurance applicable to search and examination in connection with insurance of title to real property located in counties with a population of less than 175,000 instead of those with less than 275,000. - Amends TCA Section 56-35-129.
