Legislative Description

As enacted, establishes exceptions to the $40.00 fee that is imposed on the receiving of funds paid into court on confirmation of private sales or other funds paid into the clerk pursuant to court order, and collecting and paying out the proceeds; exception applies to certain payments made by court order to any person from funds held by the clerk. - Amends TCA Section 8-21-401.
