Legislative Description

As enacted, requires the local board to consider the years of service acquired by a tenured or nontenured teacher who takes an extended leave from an LEA to teach in a public charter school authorized by the LEA, ASD, or state board of education in certain circumstances. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 1; Title 49, Chapter 13 and Title 49, Chapter 5.
