Legislative Description

As enacted, requires that any state mandated health benefit that takes effect on or after the effective date of this act apply not only to private health insurance issuers but also any managed care organization contracting with the state to provide insurance through the TennCare program and state or local insurance program. - Amends TCA Title 3; Title 8; Title 56 and Title 71.
