Legislative Description

As enacted, authorizes all public pension and retirement plans, including those of utility districts and other local governmental entities, to recognize a qualified domestic relations order that directs the entity to allocate a portion of a member's benefits to the member's former spouse. - Amends TCA Section 26-2-105.
