Legislative Description

As enacted, requires the instant check unit of the TBI to contact the agency making an entry of an order of protection into the national crime information center within one day if the subject of the order of protection attempts to purchase a firearm. - Amends TCA Title 36, Chapter 3, Part 6; Title 38, Chapter 6 and Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13.
