Legislative Description

As enacted, removes the requirement that in order for a retail food store to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises that the premises and business for on-premises consumption be separate and distinct from the retail food store; authorizes the alcoholic beverage commission to issue a limited license to a retail food store authorizing a restaurant within a retail food store to serve wine but no other alcoholic beverages within a designated area within the retail food store. - Amends TCA Title 57, Chapter 3, Part 8 and Title 57, Chapter 4.
