Legislative Description

As enacted, extends the department of correction for two years to June 30, 2020; requires the department to appear before the government operations joint evaluation committee on judiciary and government no later than December 31, 2018, to update the committee on the department's progress in addressing the findings set forth in the November 2017 performance audit report. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 4, Chapter 3.
