Legislative Description

As introduced, authorizes members of the general assembly to petition the government operations committees to review agency statements and intra-agency memoranda to determine if they should be promulgated as administrative rules; authorizes chairs of the committees, if petitioned, to direct that a review of such statements or memoranda be conducted; authorizes either committee to request an agency to promulgate the statements or memoranda as rules. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 5, Part 2.
