Legislative Description

As introduced, urges department of general services to study functions of state government performed by a private entity pursuant to a contract with the state that is for less than $100,000 and was entered into on an open-bid basis; requires the department to report to the state and local government committee of the senate and state government committee of the house of representatives within 90 days from the conclusion of any such study. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 12 and Title 41.
