Legislative Description

As introduced, prohibits governmental entities from contracting with a person who does not provide evidence of work authorization status for each individual to whom public money will be received under a public contract; requires private employers with at least six employees and governmental entities to verify the work authorization status of employees hired on or after January 1, 2020. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 12 and Title 50.
