Legislative Description

As introduced, reduces the time period, from 30 to 15 days, in which a sheriff must report to the county legislative body and to the department of correction the name of any prisoner who escapes while serving on a work detail and indicate whether the work detail on which the prisoner was serving was supervised or unsupervised. - Amends TCA Title 41.
