Legislative Description

As introduced, defines historic roads in this state as roads that have historical or cultural significance in the settlement or development of this state or are historically important on a local, regional, or state level; permits the department of transportation to designate such roads; permits the commissioner or a county legislative body to establish weight limits on a historic road without conducting an engineering study. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 54 and Title 55.
