Legislative Description

As introduced, increases from a 30-day supply to a 90-day supply the possible prescription for opioids or benzodiazepines for a patient who suffers from long-term chronic pain, as defined by the department of health by rule, if deemed appropriate by the patient's prescriber. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 33; Title 34; Title 36; Title 37; Title 39; Title 40; Title 41; Title 49; Title 50; Title 53; Title 56; Title 63; Title 68 and Title 71.
