Creates a hunger-free campus grant program to provide grants to Tennessee public and private higher education institutions for addressing student hunger on campuses

Tennessee Higher Education Commission will administer the program, funded through legislative appropriations and gifts/donations to a dedicated grant fund

Eligible institutions must have or establish a student-accessible food pantry (or partner with one) and create a hunger task force with at least 2 student members

Grant recipients must use funds for meal credit donation programs, meal voucher programs, or food pantry financial assistance, plus raise awareness of food insecurity resources

Institutions receiving grants must submit annual reports to legislative education committees on food insecurity efforts, student demographics, best practices, and related data
