English language learner (ELL) students who receive language assistance services during the school year must be allowed the same services while taking TCAP tests and end-of-course assessments, provided the services do not invalidate the assessment

Language assistance services include instruction from ESL-endorsed teachers provided under an individual learning plan (ILP), or accommodations from general education teachers for students whose parents waived specialized ESL services

Amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-6-6001(j) to add these testing accommodation requirements

Takes effect upon becoming law and applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year and thereafter
