Removes existing restrictions and special rules governing the employment of radiologists, anesthesiologists, pathologists, and emergency physicians in Tennessee

Eliminates exclusions that previously carved out these four specialties from general physician employment regulations under the medical practice act and hospital licensing laws

Allows hospitals and their affiliates to employ radiologists, anesthesiologists, pathologists, and emergency physicians through any employment arrangement, including direct employment or third-party agreements

Removes the 1997 grandfathering provision that restricted certain specialty physicians at faculty practice plans to practicing only at facilities where they worked as of May 30, 1997

Takes effect July 1, 2025
