Expands organized retail crime offenses to include tampering with anti-shoplifting devices, triggering fire alarms during theft, using online marketplaces or social media to coordinate selling stolen goods, and returning stolen or counterfeit merchandise to retailers

Criminalizes receiving, purchasing, or possessing retail merchandise believed to be stolen when intended for resale

Prohibits using skimming devices on point-of-sale terminals, ATMs, fuel pumps, or payment processing equipment to capture credit/debit card information with intent to defraud

Makes possession of 10 or more fraudulently obtained access devices (including gift cards) with intent to defraud a crime under organized retail theft statutes

Increases penalty classification by one level when property destruction or weapon use occurs during commission of these offenses; effective July 1, 2025
