Requires boards of zoning appeals to maintain public records of proceedings, elect officers from membership, and allow parties to present relevant proof

Mandates building commissioners and administrative officials provide written notice to applicants of their right to appeal permit decisions to the board of zoning appeals

Requires boards of zoning appeals to inform parties in writing of their right to seek judicial review of board decisions under Tennessee's Administrative Procedures Act

Effective July 1, 2025
