Requires TennCare managed care organizations to cover physician-prescribed treatments for PANDAS (pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections) and PANS (pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome) for policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2026

Covered treatments include antibiotics, medication, behavioral therapies, immunomodulating medicines, plasma exchange, and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy when deemed medically necessary

Prohibits insurers from denying or delaying coverage solely because a patient previously received treatment for PANDAS/PANS or was diagnosed under a different name such as autoimmune encephalopathy

Requires benefits to have co-payments, deductibles, and coinsurance equal to similar benefits, with coverage authorization provided in a timely manner consistent with urgent treatment rules

Officially cited as "Lucca's Law" and took effect upon Governor Bill Lee's approval on May 21, 2025
