Local governments are prohibited from adopting ordinances or policies that establish fire drill schedules conflicting with these state requirements

Institutional occupancies must hold full evacuation fire drills at least once every 2 months

Schools must maintain records of all fire drills, including time and date, and make them available to the state fire marshal upon request
