Tennessee Future Teacher Scholarship provides $3,500 per academic year to eligible candidates enrolled in approved educator preparation programs (EPPs)

Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, Tennessee residents for at least one year, and enrolled as juniors, seniors, or post-baccalaureate students seeking initial educator licensure

Recipients must sign a promissory note agreeing to teach for at least two consecutive years in a targeted setting at a Tennessee LEA or public charter school

Scholarship recipients who fail to complete the two-year teaching requirement must reimburse TSAC for half the total scholarship amount received for each year not taught, without interest

Scholarship eligibility expires after three years from initial award or upon degree completion, and recipients may transfer between eligible institutions without losing the scholarship
