Expired or invalid licenses, identification cards, passports, or other documents no longer qualify as acceptable "evidence of identification" for voting purposes

County election commissions are prohibited from registering anyone to vote unless the applicant provides valid, unexpired identification at the time their application is processed

Amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 2-7-112 regarding voter identification requirements

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law under the public welfare provision
