Law enforcement agencies must provide accident records to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission upon request, including information about persons involved in accidents and those who provided or sold alcohol to them.

The Alcoholic Beverage Commission must keep all records received from law enforcement confidential and cannot release them to the public.

Records used in regulatory hearings must be protected from disclosure to anyone other than the court and parties involved in the hearing.

The Commission's investigative authority is expanded to include motor vehicle accidents involving alcoholic beverages, with power to summon or subpoena witnesses, information, and documentation.

Passed March 31, 2025 and approved by Governor Bill Lee on April 11, 2025, taking effect immediately upon becoming law.
