Commissioner of health must study pathways to primary care careers for individuals with medical training as noncommissioned officers in the U.S. armed forces

Study must identify administrative barriers in current law, educational requirements where military training equals existing creditable training, and recruitment methods for veterans

Recommendations must address career pathways for military-trained professionals to become physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and other primary care providers

Study must be conducted using existing departmental resources with no additional funding

Findings and recommendations due to the legislature by December 31, 2025; act takes effect immediately upon becoming law
