Establishes a three-year pilot program for the Tennessee Department of Education to award grants to eligible LEAs for purchasing artificial intelligence weapons detection systems in schools

Eligible LEAs must have 10 or more schools identified as priority schools in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2021, and must have experienced a student death due to gun violence on school grounds during the 2024-2025 school year

AI weapons detection systems must be capable of identifying knives and firearms and immediately notifying law enforcement and school administration upon detection

Department must disburse 100% of appropriated funds each year; excess funds after all schools have systems may be used for other department-approved security measures

Pilot program begins in the 2025-2026 school year, requires annual reporting to the General Assembly by July 31, and is repealed on July 31, 2028
