Local law enforcement may enforce state hemp laws, departmental regulations (under agreement with the department), and conduct random inspections of retailers during business hours

Violations carry penalties including $1,000 civil fines per violation, permit revocation for up to one year, and ineligibility for permit renewal for up to one year after revocation
