Exempts auction operators from motor vehicle dealer licensing requirements when selling antique vehicles (25+ years old) or unique motor vehicles at auction

Qualifying auctions must be held at venues with permanent seating capacity of at least 20,000 in a specific Tennessee county with population between 147,700 and 147,800 per the 2020 census

Auction operators must conduct no more than one auction per year in Tennessee, offer between 400 and 2,000 vehicles per auction, and have a minimum net worth of $25 million

The exemption includes a sunset provision, automatically expiring on June 30, 2027, unless reenacted or extended by the General Assembly

Took effect immediately upon Governor Bill Lee's approval on February 25, 2026
